Happy Easter, all!

Easter Sunday.  Ah, to be a kid again and have no worries when you wake up on this lovely morning.  To go look for those hidden eggs, to see the basket loot you received from Peter Cottontail.

As a mother, we are now the opposite end of that.  The early rising to hide the eggs.  The packing the baskets with chocolate loot with love.  Normally, we do this in Tucson, but this year I just didn’t have the heart to go through it all this morning, only to turn around and fight all day with Scott and the kids to get out the door and back on the road to make it home at a decent hour.

Since we go back to work tomorrow, I just didn’t want to be on the road this morning.  So, we just did something small around the house.  Just a few treats and $5 for each child.  I just do not have the money to go out and get anything and I didn’t have enough time to be creative on the secret since we were around the kids all the time. 

Note to self: Think WAY ahead next year, since we go to Tucson every year.  If anything, be prepared no matter what.
