Kanye West … You know I have to comment!

I know I probably should have commented earlier this week, but I was unable to do it when it all happened.
As we are all aware, Kanye West had another jackass moment. Hey, Obama may want to say that his comment was off the record, therefore the comment was never really made. However, I am willing to PUBLISH that particular comment on my blog.
Kanye West is a jackass.
Before I launch into what I think his dumbass moment on live television showed of his “awesome” personality, let’s roll back into history a bit and revisit another famous “foot in mouth” moment in Kanye West’s life.
Wow, really? Seriously?
Well, we all know that this was an inappropriate comment to make at a very somber moment in America’s history. A terrible disaster of Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and practically left them crippled of any life that once landmarked the grand city down in the South, as well as other places across Louisiana and Mississippi.
“George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
Um, if he didn’t care for black people, could someone please point this out specifically, other than using the slow response to getting help to the victims of Hurricane Katrina? Last I checked, GWB was just one human being. Despite him being deemed “the most powerful man of the free world” because he was president of the United States at the time, it doesn’t mean he snaps his fingers twice and things magically appear and get done in a grand fashion. Hurricane Katrina hit areas that were hard to reach. It devastated areas that were practically hidden from their owners! I mean, getting to New Orleans alone doesn’t have many ways in or out.
So, then this week, something historical happened. Taylor Swift, mostly known to be a country singer, won a VMA award from MTV for a great video that was produced this year. I think this accomplishment alone means that music is breaking boundaries once again and that many voiced their opinions that they actually like variety. Heck, even a little bit of country! Okay, a little bit of that new school country…
But, once again, Kanye West must bring down white people with….
“But Beyonce had one of the videos of all times!”
Wow. What an amazing time to step up and just rain on someone else’s parade! Someone wins an award, and he felt it his obligation to point out that someone else should have won it instead.
What a jackass!
Seriously! Why in the world would you do that. Had this happened to him, had he been in Taylor’s position, and someone pulled this stunt on him, not only would he call racism if it were anyone else but a black person, but he would demand an apology immediately live on VMA cameras and would not have thought it very amusing nor the most appropriate time to make those kind of comments during a shining moment.
But it wasn’t him, so who cares! Right? Right, Kanye?
Yeah.
Hey, students, listen up! This is YOUR role model. You listen to his music. You idolize what he has.
Do you idolize his mannerisms, too?
Do you idolize what he did?
I have to tell you, this isn’t something you do to a person during an accomplishing moment.
It was almost as if the moment in Carrie where the blood and disaster happens at the prom. It was like “YAY! I am so popular” then “SPLASH!” ha ha ha … Look at her … and then Carrie gets all psycho.
The only exception is that Swift was very graceful, Beyonce was even more elegant and allowed Swift back onto the stage to finish the speech jackass … I mean Kanye West rudely interrupted. All the while, Kanye West does NOT realize what he does until the media rains down on him, people start making comments about his rude behavior, and then probably got a threatening call from his record label reprimanding him about his poor behavior.
And who is Kanye West to do this anyway?
I mean, he isn’t Beyonce’s man! Jay-Z sure didn’t go all verbal-postal on the crowd. Kanye had no reason to even be on that stage, no reason to even be near that mic.
So, I am curious. Why in the world did Kanye feel the need to ruin Swift’s moment?
Although I am not racist or stereotypical in anyway, but I feel he did it because he is racist and felt the need to make Whites appear the least favored on that stage as he feels Whites supposedly make Blacks feel.
Now, I am not saying that it doesn’t happen.
I am only saying that was an inappropriate moment to attempt to make eye opening things happen to make people realize that minorities will always be minorities in this country.
Kanye West: from a mother and a teacher – Think before you speak. You are a role model to our future rappers, song writers, as well as other talented people who will pour out of our schools in the years to come. Do you feel it is appropriate to show this kind of behavior on television, showing the students of today that it is okay to ruin anyone’s moment?
More importantly, how would you feel if someone would have ruined your moment?
Think before you speak.
That’s all I am saying.

Girl I agree with you on so many aspect, not of your blog, but of this total imbesiles (sp) lack of manners. The only reason he apologized to her was because according to him Taylor’s momma caught him backstage a gave him a “liplashing my momma would have had she been here”. So basically in my opinion he doesn’t care and only apologized to save himself face. Oh and I hate to correct this because I’m sure I’m a racist for saying this, but……Taylor’s video which has a story and displays a plot is way better then Beyonce and her backup dancers swiveling their woman parts and big jiggly butts. As a Mother I am offended for my girls by their display of womanly diasgrace, and as a woman I am disgrace by seeing a woman as “strong” as Beyonce dropping to “stripper” level to get the attention she so thinks she deserves.
It’s because he is the logo for the democratic party, that’s why.
