Driving a car is a luxury…

But driving a luxury car is bliss!
I have never owned a luxury car, but have driving a couple in my time. I have to tell you, knowing you are sitting behind the wheel of a luxury car is a whole different feeling than driving a regular car.

It isn’t just the name brand appeal. We all know how name brand appeal works. You tend to get more noticed, more recognition when we tote around those beloved name brands that everyone is all excited about. Whether it is a designer purse, a piece or jewelry, or the latest piece of technology, it all rings true even for cars.
Take, for example, the BMW line. No matter how old that sucker is, people will give you a second look in a BMW. Okay, I take that back. You have to actually take care of it, but who wouldn’t take care of a BMW?
BMWs are known for their sleek look, the dazzling appeal, and the fast speeds it can top when maxed to its fullest potential. With the reputation surround a driver, it is a whole different scene to luxury.
Here is a thought: If cars were not in existence, co-existing in our everyday lives, what would we deem as a luxury in its place? Seriously?!? Think about it. What other type of invention could give us the same kind of thrill, and still all of the control?
Sure, one can learn how to pilot a plane. But a plane is HUGE! Even the little planes tend to be bigger than a car. Driving a car gives a person independence, thrill, a sense of belonging in the adult world.
Add this back into our reality and have one owning a car like a BMW, and we are back to the world of bliss. I’d be curious to life without cars, but for now, I’ll enjoy the luxury!
