Ah Saturday…

I didn’t get to sleep in like I usually do this morning because Scott had a very early doctor’s appointment this morning.  We are trying to determine what his stomach problems are.  We do know all blood work and samples of anything else they have taken have all come back normal.  Yet, this man hasn’t been eating all that much, bloats worse than I do during “that time of month,” and his bowel (yes, TMI!) movements are so irregular.

Now, the only time Scott used to get this way is when the seasons would change and his allergies would flare up big time.  However, it has been so random and frequent that I don’t even think I can even really label it as random anymore, other than it is happening when nothing is really irritating his allergies.

As for the lack of eating, so not like Scott!  He loves to eat.  The man will be 36 years old and still has the same figure he had when I first met him.

I’d like to interject here that any weight gain he should have gotten have all been handicapped to me.  That is just my opinion. 

So, I am hoping we can get more information soon here.  He did an abdominal ultrasound this morning, and should hear back from his doctor soon.  If they find nothing here, then they refer him to a different doctor, a “GI’ doctor.  Not sure what the true term is, but I definitely aware it means something along the lines of gastro- and intestines.

So, now that he is back home, I have been attempting to catch up with emails and site posts, and I just can’t keep my eyes open.  I am so exhausted after this week.

Majestic, isn’t it?  I want to visit some of Canada’s most beautiful spots, especially Prince Edward Island and visit the historical Green Gables home that is referred to often in the book series Anne of Green Gables written by L.M. Montgomery.  She is one of my most favorite authors!
