TGIF! Goodbye work, HELLO weekend!

Literally, HELLO!

This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous!  We are expected to reach high 60s, even possibly hit in low 70s!  I am psyched!  The kids haven’t been able to go to the park on the weekends until last week.  And we couldn’t even go then because we had so much to do.

With his weekend being a three-day weekend, I plan to take advantage of this weather!  We have to get the garage cleaned out.  Ours is detached, so this actually requires a little more dedication when compared to one that is attached to said house.

I am also psyched as I do not have to go to school Monday night.  This gives me more time to work on my British literature reading, and one more extra day to work on Spanish homework. 

I learned my lesson last week.

[note to self] Don’t procrastinate the homework!

I ended up opting out on some of the stuff not getting done on Tuesday.  I guess I failed that Tackle It Tuesday!  Oh well, it was my first attempt.  I know not to aim so high next Tuesday!

I have been working all week, minus Tuesday.  It has taken a toll on the house.  The kitchen is a complete mess because my husband somehow felt the need to constantly leave the dishes for me to rinse and place into the dishwasher.  My thought on the matter was to look at the growing pile, and put off until the next day.  “I will do it tomorrow….”  This lead to tomorrow, then tomorrow, then tomorrow…

A chain of procrastination, I know! 

I plan to rectify that this upcoming week.  I am going back onto the Change Your Life Challenge on Monday.  I need to kick procrastination out on its hind end!

Well, I need to get off of here.  I have a writing prompt waiting for me to start working on.  I have actually been attempting to do it for like an hour now, but my best friend popped on.  TTYL and have a great night!
