Tomorrow starts a new calendar cycle of the week…
Tomorrow is Monday and I am not looking forward to the week.
I haven’t been feeling the best today, and it has progressively gotten worse as the day wore on. I didn’t fall asleep until about 1am, and that was after taking some heavy cold medicine and reading Mrs. Dalloway for my Brit Lit course. I really do not remember what I read in the novel!
I have to go into work tomorrow, so this means that I have to get up early. I should be reading my novel and poetry for tomorrow night’s class, or at least ironing for this week, but you know – blogging is more interesting to me at the moment!

Tomorrow and Tuesday, I am subbing in an orchestra class at a nearby middle school. Thank goodness I do not have to direct the actual orchestras, just sit in and make sure they behave. I normally do not pick up these kinds of gigs since it is a waste of my teaching, but the teacher/director feels uncomfortable leaving the students with a sub who just watches over the kids. This usually means the sub allows the kids to have a free-for-all, and he hates it when that happens. So, I just chalk it up as an easy day for me, even though it isn’t for the kids. ![]()

YAY! I have been spying this image for a couple of days, and now I have a purpose to use it!
I have been tossing ideas around for short stories again, so I think my very long spell of writer’s block is coming to an end. It hasn’t gotten to the point where I am actually writing into the story, but the characters are coming along pretty nicely. When this usually happens, I get short spurts of poetry as well. I have to tell you, it is pretty nerve-racking for a writer to go through such a long spell of being able to put word to paper, or type to screen. I couldn’t get either or going for quite awhile! I suppose like the Japanese/Chinese (sorry, not sure which!) characters in this image, it would flit across my mind in the same jumbled sort – I couldn’t get it out or understand it!
And now I will close off this post with this beautiful view. I really need to stock up my nature view folder. It rotates on my sidebar, since I use Vista. Sometimes, I just like to look over and watch the scenes slowly change from one tranquil spot to another. Have a great night all and a good start to your Monday! TTYL, peas out!![]()
